About Us

Jeff Robertson spent over 20 years active duty in the U.S. Air Force. 

During this time he worked in Major Weapon System development and procurement, 

serving as a project officer, program manager, program director,  

squadron commander, and wing director of operations before retiring. While in the USAF, Jeff received a Master's Degree in System Management from the Air Force Institute of Technology (AFIT) and the Master's Degree in Military Operational Art and Science while attending Air Command and Staff College in residence.  After retiring in 2005 as a Lieutenant Colonel, he worked for a private engineering development and production firm in California in multiple positions including Vice President of Supply Chain.

Jeff considers San Antonio his home town, even though he was born in Maine while his Dad was stationed there, serving as an Air Force fighter pilot.  Jeff's early childhood saw multiple relocations due to the military, but the pace of change slowed down when Jeff reached second grade--he spent 2nd through 4th grade in Laredo, Texas, then 5th through 7th grades at Lackland AFB Elementary School. His Dad retired from the Air Force and moved to the North East side of San Antonio, where Jeff went to Garner Middle School and then spent all 4 years at MacArthur High School.  Jeff attended Texas A&M University, where he earned his Bachelor's Degree in Mechanical Engineering.  

Jeff and his wife, Roxanne, met while attending church when they were in high school. They were blessed with three beautiful children and have two lovely grandchildren. 

In 2010, after working for that private firm in California, Jeff and Roxanne “came back home” to San Antonio, where he has been building his businesses and enjoying hobbies such

as coin collecting and spending time with his children and grandchildren.

Jeff has been involved in precious metals investing and collecting for over 30 years. 

He started his own business in 2012 which focused on internet retail and buying/selling 

bullion and jewelry. Soon after he was asked to work with a financial planning firm as their Precious Metals expert/associate, where he became interested in Life Insurance and Annuities as excellent tools to help people with their retirement planning needs.  In 2020 Jeffery became certified and licensed to talk with and sell life insurance and annuities to individuals.  

In early 2022, Jeff created his second business, Encompass Retirement Solutions, as his avenue to provide his clients comprehensive financial planning solutions, and he renamed his first business, dealing with precious metals, to Encompass Metals.
